Where is my data?
We believe in data minimisation. We only keep what is absolutely necessary for safety and compliance, and we keep it where it belongs.
Live video: stays in your centre
Live streams never leave your building. The AI analyses the video locally and discards the frames immediately.
Safety alerts: secure Australian cloud
When a risk is detected, an encrypted ‘event packet’ is created and sent to our Australian-hosted cloud to allow you to review alerts via your portal.
The Policy: All data is securely stored for the duration of your engagement. Upon termination, all data is permanently deleted within 60 days.

Safe Sight is not a staff monitoring tool. Our AI is trained to recognise actions and safety risks, not to monitor staff. While the system processes video to detect events, its purpose is to provide real-time assistance to your team.
Live video never leaves your building. However, when a safety risk is detected, an ‘event package’ with a snippet of the video is encrypted and sent to our secure Australian-hosted cloud (Azure). This allows you to verify alerts instantly via your portal.
Yes. Safe Sight is designed to meet and support your obligations under the Australian Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We act as a ‘Data Processor’, ensuring that you remain the sole owner of your data while we provide the secure infrastructure to manage it.
Since our AI processes video locally and doesn’t “identify” children, there is no database of names or faces. However, for added peace of mind, centres can choose our Real-Time Blurring feature, which ensures that no identifiable faces are ever displayed on alert screens or stored in logs.
Yes. As an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified organisation, we adhere to the highest international standards for information security. We use enterprise-grade encryption for all data in transit. Because your 24/7 video feed remains on your local AI Hub and is never stored in the cloud, there is no central video library for outside parties to access.
The AI Hub is designed for ‘edge’ resilience. Because the AI ‘brain’ is located on-site, it will continue to detect risks even if your internet connection fails. While cloud-based portal and mobile alerts may be delayed, the system can still trigger local centre alarms (such as office hub or camera flash alerts) via your local network.
No. Safe Sight is designed to work with your existing setup. However, if you need an upgrade, we offer “lease-to-own” financing plans to help you build a modern safety asset without the upfront cost.
